On the Ipswich Waterfront there are a number of activities for children and childcare facilities are provided for the growing number of Children and Babies in the Ipswich Waterfront Quayside area. This together with 2 parks helps provide plenty of fun! Add to this the Scouts, Brownies and Sea Cadets and there's plenty for children and young people to do in the Ipswich Waterfront area.

Ipswich Waterfront Action Partnership Group would recommend that before using any childcare facilities that parents / carers check that any provision is registered with any appropriate bodies, that the facility has a recruitment procedure which ensures that adults are vetted and provided with appropriate supervision, that the setting has a Safeguarding or Child Protection policy and that both they and their child are happy.
