
Maritime Ipswich Food & Drink Event Stall Application
Following on from the success in 2011 where around 55,000 visitors enjoyed the Maritime Ipswich festival, this Ipswich event is being repeated for 2012. This free Ipswich Maritime event will celebrate all things nautical, bringing together Ipswich’s maritime past and present. Between 10am-6pm on both days of Maritime Ipswich Events, thousands of residents and visitors are expected to head for the Waterfront to enjoy live traditional music, dancing, historical re-enactments, a variety of stalls, food, beer festival and firework display. Maritime Ipswich Market Stands will be positioned along the Waterfront between Dance East and Pizza Express and we are pleased to be able to invite you to apply for a stand at Maritime Ipswich 2012. We will provide a stall with a table area of 7ft x 3ft and a roof area of 7ft x 7ft giving 2ft overhang at the back and front of the stall with a shower proof canopy. An illustration is at the bottom of this page. The price of a stall is just £120 per day or £200 for both days (50% discount for charities). With the large numbers of planned visitors to the event, it is expected these will all fill up so early applications are strongly advised. If you would like to bring your own professional display stand or gazebo, then this may be possible and you should detail this in the comments box on the application form. We will need to know the construction of this, size, confirmation of how you will weight it down and a photograph. The size of the pitch is 3m x 3m and the cost is above. Please note this is not available to catering companies as all food/drink concessions are contracted separately. Please email for further details. The cost will be £120 per pitch per day or £200 for both days weekend (Charities receive 50% discount so £60 and £100). 2. All pitches must be paid for upon application. 3. A Public Liability certificate will be required from you (a copy must be forwarded to us before acceptance). 4. Stallholders must provide their own Fire Extinguishers. 5. No electrical equipment is to used 6. All stalls to be set up by 9am each day, no access will be allowed prior to 8:00am and all stock / signs etc to be off site by 7pm.
